Family PASS only takes referrals from our collaborating organizations: Fairfax County’s Coordinated Services Planning (CSP) Agency, Northern Virginia Family Services, Cornerstones, Shelter House, Good Shepherd Housing, and other recognized agencies and organizations.

Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning (CSP)

Coordinated Services Planning (CSP) connects Fairfax County residents to county and community-based services and resources that promote self-sufficiency and enhance well-being. CSP Specialists operate in a call-center environment and conduct a detailed intake questionnaire to adequately refer those in need to the most appropriate organization. The main areas of emergency assistance provided for are rent, financial, food, medical, and transportation. In addition, they provide referrals for employment, domestic violence counseling, behavioral health support, clothing assistance, and help with veterans’ issues.

Cornerstones

Cornerstones is a non-profit organization that promotes self-sufficiency by providing support and advocacy for those in need of food, shelter, affordable housing, quality childcare and other human services. Cornerstones’ service area is primarily northwestern Fairfax County. Cornerstones operates an emergency shelter for individuals and families in Reston:

Shelter House

Shelter House, Inc. is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention, safe housing, and supportive services to homeless families and victims of domestic violence in our community. Shelter House operates three emergency shelters in Fairfax County:
